Hi, I am thinking about changing my heating over to electric, I have found this website www.glassheating.com the heaters look modern and would be a nice feature in my living room and bedroom however i'm not sure how effective they are. I'm wondering if anyone has much experience with these kinds of heaters and if they are value for money, they say they are eco friendly and are much better for the environment so that's making me really want to switch over to electric, plus they look so much nicer than traditional radiators, any info would be appreciated. Thanks |

What do you have currently to handle the heating needs in your home? Before you can make a judgment on what is best, you have to look at what you have. Then you look at what is on the market and then you look at what is the best fit for your home. Through this process, you will come to the right choice. Don't start with the product and try to justify the purchase. Start with the needs and context and let them guide you to the right product. |

I think electric heaters consume more energy and there are chances that your electricity bills will go up..Better you find any other heater for your home.. |

i too have used the "radiator type" electric heaters, especially around my birds cage. they are quiet and radiate a nice even warmth. they usually come with 600/900/1500 watt settings. i use it on the lowest of course to save a couple $$. we have a double-wide and the living space is wide open from family room to dining room to kitchen and TV room is all one big area so its hard to keep one place warm. i also have to mind what heater is plugged in and where. we only have 100amp service here so we can only use one heater or AC unit per "side". |

I have also referring to my friends. The most apparent safety measures to take, to avoid injuries due to heating elements, are simply to make sure that there is an acceptable range between the heating unit and any prospective supply of burning. http://www.paragonremodeling.com/ |
