haven't heard of anything on this article. I'm hoping that they're editing the interview?
hope to see something on it soon!

I can't say when the article will be released, but I do know that our editors are looking over the interview and hope to have it out within the month. Please read our current articles while you wait for this specific article.

Looking forward to reading the article. In the meantime, it looks like Polli-Brick won the Earth Awards. Take a look.

I know I can be a little impatient, but where is this article we were promised. I have seen some press releases lately about Polli-Brick, but I would really like to see what G3DH has to say about this product.

I just read the Polli-Brick article. Many thanks. It does indeed address many of the topics all of us raised in this conversation. The method Miniwiz uses to make this a 100% recycled product is pretty cool. So is the UV and fireproofing. Once everybody takes a look, we can probably continue on this and suss out Polli-Brick's nitty gritty.

I had never seen a detail that showed how a Polli-Brick wall is assembled. To be honest, it was a let down. Its not an intact wall system. It uses these 'caps' and then a plexi 'shell' to tie all the 'bottles together and that is where the stability is coming from. They are integral parts of the system. Are they recycled too? If not, shouldn't Miniwiz be honest that the system is mostly recycled, but some components are not?

Thanks for the article/interview. That clears up some of the concerns I had about this material. I like archdesigns was surprised to see the detailed image. It isn't what I thought it would be. I love that the polli-brick is 100% recycled and recyclable though.

The second part of the interview has been posted. Very interesting. I was especially interested in the load bearing capacity of the product. Its a shame you can't get that great transparency and load bearing. If that were possible, then it would take this product to a whole new level.

I just don't see the Polli-Brick as being all that its cracked up to be. Can't be load bearing and transparent at the same time. Glass can with certain glass mullion products. Doesn't have the insulative properties to compete with most solid wall applications (it does outshine glass here though). It can't be used outside of Taiwan. I think the idea is what is important here and not so much the product.
