Right around the corner huh? Anyone planning on attending. I just can't do it. Would love to hear about any great new innovations though.

Would love to go, but alas, I have no time off work. Please fill us in on what you see there.

Hi all,
Just watchted the live demo of the new Envisioneer 6 last night live from Las Vegas. Some fantastic improvements in the BIM capabilities of Envisioneer. You can now share the model BIM data with 20/20 cabinet software, I-level/ Javelin structual analysis, Mi-Teck truss design software and one other I forgot the name of.

There are now smart views of the model that can be used for blueprinting that update globally any changes in the model. There are many other excellent features if you are an Envisioneer enthusiast or are thinking of switching. Here is the link to the changes: http://cadsoft.com/v6.php

The show was great. Sure it rained all week, but inside the show things went well. We stopped by so many exhibits with manufacturers providing great sustainable products.

There are plans to post videos from the show, so keep your eyes open for those new features on Green3DHome.com

Anyone else go to the show. I thought it was very successful this year. I definitely think there was a new attitude compared with last year. The building industry has some new found confidence as if maybe we are on the verge of a recovery. I sure hope so.

Highlight for me was the Windtronics wind turbine for Honeywell. Very innovative. Once I can find an image I will start a thread about it. Pretty cool take on the wind turbine.

I wish I could have gone, but alas I had no time off during the week to make it there. It sounds like there was a great number of vendors and manufacturers thinking green. That's good to hear.
