I found this really cool product called the "KOR One Hydration Vessel" which is just a water bottle in more sophisticated terms. Its 100% BPA-Free and eco-friendly. You should check their site.

I called them and got this cool coupon which gives $5 off for every bottle you order. I got 2 on the way, one for me and my wife.

Love the design. I am not sure how "green" this product really is though. Isn't it made entirely of plastics and therefore derived from oil byproducts. Aren't there better ways to tote water around than in a plastic water bottle?

I really like the look of this one. If I didn't already have 10+ of this type of bottle around the house, I would definitely look into it.

I think that drinking water and using multi-use bottles is a very good simple step that most people can make. I do wonder if a plastic bottle is the best choice, but it is a better choice, that I know already. Plastics are a necessary evil in today's world, but that does not mean that we need to use them so ubiquitously.

I feel that plastics have a safe place in today's world and probably will for many decades (or centuries to come). I do hope that we learn to keep the resources found in plastics in use for cycle after cycle instead of single use items, and to do so would limit the negative impacts currently attributed to the assortment of products made from plastics.

I am all for any device that replaces the ubiquitous disposable plastic water bottle. This may not be the ideal to some, but this one looks nice, evidently holds water and save hundreds of water bottles from being made in the first place.

If all we do is seek the ideal or the perfect solution and accept nothing less, then we will always be falling short of our goals. Any reusable water bottle is better than the alternative of disposable bottles.

Why not just buy a "single use" water bottle and use it over and over and over and over again? It seems to me after "x" number of uses you would have negated the bad effects of using plastics for water bottles.

I got one of these after the original poster linked to them. I like it. It looks better than most of the ones I have seen. Thanks.

I am all for it, but not as a plastic bottle. I have a ton of these in my cabinets. Why? I don't know. I can only use one at a time. I agree that we need to stop using disposable items for reusable tasks (see water bottles), but we need to change the consumer culture and the mentality of buying what's new.

I think items like this are wonderful if there weren't already 1000s of products just like it and not to mention that I would say most people already have an item that does this exact function.
