So how do you prevent these from becoming ovens if you don't add exterior cladding? Seems to me that container houses are a fad and likely won't stay around very long. Too many unknowns.

Supertherm.... Ceramic paint that has hi-performance insulation properties at a thin application. You can also add insulation to the interior to double the benefit. There really aren't that many unknowns. Its all a matter of building commissions only wanting to do what they are familiar with, thinking that something they don't know about can't be safe.

You know there's an article series started on this topic right? Why don't you read and learn more?

Yeah both of these things go hand by hand as we have to select the particular sites where we can take these containers. Also it is a good initiative to save our natural resources which otherwise are getting exhausted. Now we can construct the houses with minimum use of natural products. Also using pots and other things can create a eco friendly environment around.

I have no idea what you are trying to say here. I get that the last line is a subtle plug for your company, perhaps hoping that someone will ask what you mean and you can come in and say that you have these eco friendly recycled pots and pans that can be used as planters.

I think you miss that whether its a container or stick building, we are still using natural resources. The shipping containers are made from corten steel which is made from iron which is mined from inside the earth, requiring energy at all steps of the process and not to mention that iron is a finite resource.

Natural products is a misnomer. All products come from natural resources. Too many people use natural as a catch phrase for unadulterated, raw materials. No matter what you build your house out of, it came from natural resources.

"all products are come from natural resources"

This is true, but most people are willing to say that when we as human create unnatural mixtures of natural materials, that this is the unnatural product, in comparison to natural products. Adding arsenic to wood to make it weather resistant and flame retardent is not a natural product even though it has a natural raw material at its root.
