Green 3D Home was built to help homeowners make their homes more green. As a starting point people need to learn how much energy is consumed by homes in North America, and see how much their individual home pollutes. From this starting point homeowners can investigate green alternatives, make the easy changes right away, and make plans for bigger commitments. Along the way the Green 3D Home partners want to assist with information, motivation, tips, free software, and all sorts of other tools.

Green 3D Home is the product of a number of partners including ENGINEERING.com, Cadsoft, HGTV, IMSI and more. We’re launching Green 3D Home at the National Homebuilder’s Show in Las Vegas in January 2009.

Thanks for the input JackH. I was wondering, is there a website for those interested in the National Homebuilder's Show to learn more about the event and maybe even attend.

Glad you started this site. I think it will be beneficial to many people.

Hey Jack, do you think we could get a follow-up on the Home Builder's Show. I know that I didn't get to go and I know I have an interest in what went on. Could you share with us how the show was. Is the economic slump hurting everyone in the industry? What are the new trends that might take off after these housing woes are over?
