That means the rubber was actually tapped from a tree in a well managed and growing forest instead of being made from harmful chemicals.

That;s really cool and they look like Chuck Taylors. I wonder how many stores will care them. To have them shipped just as individual pairs would reduce the environmental benefit. There is an economy of scale for the environment as well and shipping just one pair isn't as efficient as shipping a truck load to a retail outlet.
