We have a few simple rules in the Green 3D Homes Community. They aren't rules to restrict what and who can be here, but rather rules to protect the community, its users and the atmosphere we are trying to create. Please read the rules and follow them.

1. Have fun!
That's right, rule #1 is to have fun. Life is too short and we want everyone to learn and enjoy the process of creating a green and sustainable environment for themselves and future generations.

2. Share what you know.
A community like this only works if all the members share the knowledge they have with the greater community.

3. Learn from others.
Even the most well versed green builder or sustainable architect can learn something from the homeowner new to greening his/her house. Be open to learning new ideas.

4. Be polite, even in the face of disagreement.
People will disagree from time to time. That is a fact, but please, when you do disagree with another member, keep it civil and polite. For that matter be polite at all times on the forums.

5. Keep it clean.
No insults, obscene language or images, personal attacks or obvious flame-baiting.

6. Full disclosure.
If you have ties to a company, brand or business that you are discussing, please disclose this information. This is not permission to advertise or spam the forums, its just a matter of being open with the community.

7. No advertising or spam.
This is a discussion forum and not a platform to sell your goods or services. Any advertising or spam in the discussion forums will be deleted. We have provided a space here for you to post your sites. This way you can still do a little promotion but not disrupt discussion.

8. No email addresses in posts.
This is for your own protection. Bots are often run in forums to find email addresses and these are used by spammers to disrupt the flow of the forum, advertise and other nefarious intentions. Just don't do it. We will remove any email addresses found in posts.

9. Only registered users may post.
Look around, lurk, see what there is to offer here at Green 3D Home. We want to share our information and our community with you, and when you decide to join in the conversation, just register an account and you'll be on your way.

Thank you
the good people of
Green 3D Home
